Has anybody tried this as practice ammo in an Anschutz? I need some good practice ammo that is not necessarily high end competition ammo, for basics. Expert Answer

The Federal Premium Champion Training - Rimfire .22 Long Rifle 40 Grain Lead Round Nose Rimfire Ammunition will work in a Anschutz .22LR. However, ammo shoots differently through different rifles, and even the same rifle models. So how well it will shoot in your particular rifle is hard to answer.

Believe it or not this out shot the Norma tac 22 and the CCI standard velocity in a standard tapered barrel Ruger 1022 with my own bolt and trigger polish. Fouled barrel, 500 rounds without white glove clean.
