Really XL - almost huge, but appropriate

Review for
Kaw Valley Precision XL Linear Compensator
Like other Kaw Valley products this is made to last.
It looks tough enough to survive a "baffle strike", but I am not going to test that.
I like my .45 the way it is.

Review for
SIG SAUER Barrel, Threaded, 220, 45, Chr
It took a while, but I suspect that SIG had the priority of assembling, rather than just making parts.

Review for
Mec-Gar Plus3 Sig P228 Polymer Adapter Set
They fit well.
Sadly the "Plus" is only 2, not 3.

It adds a bit of weight where it is needed, and makes my front rest more stable.

Review for
Swampfox Saber 5x36mm 4 MOA Prism Scope
The eye relief is very narrow and must be close to my face.
The red/green option is very nice.
I already had a RMCs sight and found that the tapped holes in the Saber would make the sight backwards. The spacing was correct. I hope that the Swampfox dot sight will fit. Very frustrating, plus it added to the cost.
I will be carefully evaluating this.

I guess I got a lemon

After three times at the range, mounting it carefully on three different match grade .22 rifles, shooting at 50 and 100 yards, this scope just does not deliver. I also used several match grade brands of ammunition that each rifle likes as well as the 2nd and 3rd "choice" of those rifles.
The adjustments are mushy and often do not affect the shot. From a solid and steady rest, at both ranges, it looked like a bad shotgun pattern. No wind at any of the times I went.
Other .22 that I own, including the three that I tested it on can shoot 4-6 inch circles at 100 yards all day. Except with this scope.

SK Semi-Auto Rifle .22 Long Rifle 40 grain Lead Round Nose Brass Cased Rimfire Ammunition
At just over subsonic levels, this will be used in handguns as the short barrel will not allow the pressure that a rifle barrel adds.
It was sent as a substitute for an "Out of Stock" order.

Repeatable and easy to see in low light.

I can finally see those 100 yard .22 holes in the paper, and am happy with the turrets and feel.
