The Forward Controls Design Ambidextrous .308 Charging Handle (ACF308) is a precision-engineered charging handle designed for SR25 and LR308 pattern AR-10 upper receivers. It was designed to produce an ambi charging handle capable of withstanding repeated mortaring, and to enhance gas and debris deflection when firing with a suppressor.

The ACF charging handle builds on the existing Forward Controls TDP design, integrating improvements while retaining its key strengths. Taller and thicker than the TDP, ACF incorporates aggressive serrations on both the front and curved back straps. The elevated profile provides greater surface area without unnecessary width, promoting straight-back pull alignment and proximity to the charging handle's body. This design effectively clears the forward assist's rim during operation.
