Product Info for Gear Head Works IDF 101 Top Rail
This rail is designed for IDF owners who wish to replace their factory installed Mepro. It attaches directly to the gas block similar to the factory sight so it doesn't require any additional adapters or risers. It places the rail height at the same height as our Razorback family of rails to give you a comfortable cheek weld. It does work with the factory IDF flip up sights. Use it in conjunction with our IDF QD rail to give you additional rail length all at the same plane.
Features of Gear Head Works IDF 101 Top Rail
- The superior 1 piece mounting design creates a rock solid mounting rail to maximize accuracy.The 14 slot rail starts right in front of the rear swing up sight and extends slightly forward of the gas block to give you a little more rail space for longer sights.It utilizes the patent pending USA mounting system and works with all our USA accessories.It is machined from solid billet 6061 aluminum and is 1 piece. Hard coat anodized per MIL-A-8625 F(1), TYPE III, CLASS II, BLACK just like all our rails. It includes mounting hardware but does require barrel removal to install so you will need a barrel wrench.
