I think this GA rifle spring is a decent upgrade. Especially on sale… Can’t really grade how quiet it is compared to something like the Sprinco green springs I usually use.. used this with a Geissele URGI near clone 11.5 inch upper and an A5H2 buffer...

Works great in a phase 5 rifle length hex tube. definitely quieter that a standard spring. Cycles 11.5-17" 5.56 and 8" 300 blk subs and supers perfectly. Makes a great "do all lower" buffer system.

This product will work in a Ruger SFAR buffer tube. Must be Rifle length spring. Ruger SFAR uses a carbine buffer weight and proprietary buffer spring. You can use this spring for SFAR to slow down the bolt cycle. I used it to cure over gassing issue...

The Super 42 Rifle Length Spring for the M-16/AR-15, brings you the performance and user experience improvement of the Super 42 spring for your rifle length buffer tube. This unique spring design uses three independent strands of wire, that acts as a harmonic damper and energy absorber by allowing the springs to flex separately from each other. This flex helps displace excess energy which decreases the chance of spring failure and assists with making your M-16/AR-15 rifle more reliable while diminishing the twang sound from the butt-stock. The Geissele M-16/AR-15 Super 42 Rifle Length Spring works with a standard rifle length buffer and buffer tube.
