Your Answer:
I have just verified today that the ONLY difference between Geissele super 42 weights and mil-spec weights is that Geissele bevels the sharp edges resulting in .20 grams loss of weight. Standard weights fit inside the buffer just fine. I’m running one tungsten that came with it. Ordered this weight. And also put in one standard usgi tungsten weight from del ton. Other than the beveled edges the weights inside the super 42 buffer are within dimension spec of usgi buffer weights.
Each weight raises the H level by one. The base Super 42 buffer is already H1, so adding one weight will make it an H2 buffer, and adding two weights will make it an H3 buffer.
The first review stating these can only be used in Super 42 buffers is incorrect.
I have purchased at least 6 of these to change the weight of my standard carbine buffers. Pop out the pin to add one two or three to get an H1 H2 or H3 respectively. ...

it works as advertised and creates an H2 buffer for AR rifles that utilize the new Geissele 42 AR buffer. I should note that it will only work with the super 42 buffer do to its smaller diameter and will not work in a standard buffer setup.
Awesome in my 10.5 5.56 pistol using the Geissle braided buffer spring and an SBA3. Huge reduction in recoil adding the 2 weights to go from H1 to H3. No issues with reliability at all. Perfect results. Recoils less than a 9mm MpX no joke.
Item is just as described. I originally purchased an H1 geisselle buffer tube and needed to add extra weight to my tube since I was running a 8.5 inch 300 black out upper. I bought two extra tungsten buffer weight in order to fine tune the buffer for...

What else would you expect from the best but the best. Super 42 buffer system is incredible on my DD MK18. Gun runs smooth as silk now no more annoying spring noise, perfect case ejection.———————————————————————
I upgraded my Geissele Super 42 buffer and spring to a H3 buffer for firing suppressed and it works great. Product came quickly and in good packaging. Instructions included. I would order this weight again.
Product Info for Geissele Super 42, Tungsten Buffer Weight
To change the Geissele Automatics H1 Buffer assembly to the heavier H2 or H3 buffer setup, you will need to disassemble and re-assemble the buffer replacing the steel weights with the correct number of tungsten weights
