Is there ANY possible way to make this work on a carbine mil spec tube by placing customized buffer in it to take up the extra length? Possible?? Expert Answer

No. This HERA Arms HRS Light Fixed Buttstock requires the use of an A2 buffer tube. A carbine tube is different dimensionally and would not be able to modified to fit this stock. I would recommend picking up an A2 buffer kit and replacing your carbine tube to fit this stock.

For shooting 223 through a 20” barrel, it is exactly what I was hoping for. Lightweight and sleek. I haven’t had any issues with keeping it my shoulder as others have spoken to. I’m mainly using this rifle for target shooting and hunting.

Overall seems well made, definitely light. My main gripe is that the buffer tube screw that holds the stock on is too short to engage the threads....I had to ream out the rubber pad to get it deep enough. Decent quality but needs improvement.

HERA fixed HRS stock for AR-15 / M4 firearms using an A2 (rifle) buffer tube. Easy-to-install replacement made from fiberglass-reinforced polymer.
