Picked this up for hunting hogs. The night vision is great for the size. Bonus that the red dot and night vision can be used separately or together. Light weight and feels sturdy. I’ll try to update after I have put her through some abuse ;)
Haven't had a chance to hit the range as of this writing. The red dot and sight picture is crystal clear same with the reticle. Night vision is clear but is a little grainy on max magnification. Very good construction and solidly built. Will add more...

I use the NV mode for observation...
Yes it works for target acquisition if need be. Red dot Holosun death donut holds zero and will run off of CR123 batteries. NV will not. For 1K its worth it for a limited capacity not full on high speed NV work. ...
