I have been looking for a cleaning method for an air rifle that was easy,efficient and potable. This product works well. After 2 passes the barrel is spotless. I wash mine in the washing machine in an old sock.

I have several of these and use them at the range for a quick clean if needed. If you don't want the brass brush, they are easily removed by separating the weave at one end of the brush and then work your way down the brush until it is free.

This Hoppe's boresnake is just the thing I needed to clean the bore on my marlin 1894 44 mag. It has a very snug fit and swabs the bore very effectively. I would highly recommend this for a lever action.
