Helpful Negative Review 6061 claiming to be mil-spec? by CiTY HuNTeR, April 3, 2021
All mil-spec are including materials. Only 7075 aluminum can be called mil-spec. This tube is only 6061, an aluminum alloy that is much softer than what mil-spec tube uses. I'd not suggest anyone to use 6061 material on the buffer tube.
