This little tool makes it easy to remove the takedown pin. There's not much to it, it's easy to depress the detent and exchange pins with this. Be warned, it is small and very easy to lose. Nonetheless, it does its job.

Product Info for LANTAC RTT Rear Takedown Tool
The RTT is a DLC (Direct Laser Sintered) 3D printed stainless steel tool that allows the user to remove the rear takedown pin on an AR15 receiver without having to un-stake and remove the Castle Nut & End Plate.
The tool is inserted into the slot on the rear takdown and features a ramp that allows the detent to ride up and out of the channel onto the outer diameter of the pin.
The pin can then be removed and a Pivot Pin used to hold the detent back while a new pin is inserted.
Ideal for swapping out damaged or replacement pins.
