Is this plug and play? Meaning does it come with the Bolt Carrier Group and the complete gas system? Can it be assembled to a lower and ready to fire?

"Plug and play" only applies to electronics toys. This assembly is NOT ready to fire when assembled to a complete lower assembly. First, you need to load a loaded mag and chamber a round. After that, it is complete AND ready to fire. You just won't hit anything without sights, optic, or scope installed.

The quality of Larue products are second to none. Perfect fit with a Larue lower. The upper comes in a well padded cylinder alone. There is no case or bumper stickers as shown in the photos.

The upper is solid, can't beat LaRue's quality hardware. Docking a star purely because of the misleading thumbnail, however if I would have read the fine print I would have noticed that this is for the upper only -- no case, sticker, etc.
