Are the mounting rings paralell to the base so it can mounted facing either direction? Expert Answer

The Leapers UTG ACCU-SYNC 1in High Profile 50mm Offset Picatinny Ring has a O MOA base, so it could be mounted in either direction. However, the correct orientation for these scope rings is with the overhanging portion of the rings facing toward the muzzle to allow for proper eye relief.
