What is the total length for the 9" minus the anti rotation tabs. Is it 9" or 9.25"? Thanks

From the information we have available, this will be 9" of picatinny rail on the top of the handguard.

i have a bushmaster xm15 e2s that i purchased this year and i was wondering if i could put the 13 inch hand guard on it

Yes, but you will need to change out the gas block for a low profile gas block, as well as remove the handguard clamp and Delta Ring.

I have this handguard in the 15" model on my rifle. It weighs next to nothing and is solid quality. Comes with everything you need minus a torque wrench to mount. The anti rotation tabs on the side really work to keep it from twisting on you.
