Will this product fit my Sig Sauer M400 carbine which has a Picatinny gas block? Does it come apart so that it goes back together around the gas block Expert Answer

Yes, this will work with the Sig M400 railed gas block. It's a 2-piece (or in this case a 3-piece due to the extended front) drop-in handguard.

Unfortunately, it appears that the Savage MS15 Patrol often has a mid-length gas system and would be incompatible.

The hanguard is great. It is Not designed to fit the optic ready variant of the M&P 15. The gas black with quick disconnect point is too large. That said... About 10 minutes of grinding and it works just fine.

Throw on this Leapers UTG PRO AR15 Super Slim Keymod 15in Drop-In Rail to get a continuous mounting platform that doesn't weigh you down. Leapers machined these AR Handguards & Forends from 6061-T6 aluminum with black anodizing so that you have a dependable rail that can handle whatever is thrown its way. The Leapers UTG PRO Carbine Length Handguard uses drop-in installation and has a cut out that allows you to attach it without removing the A2 front sight post. With this handguard, you get two removable 2-slot rail sections and two removable 4slot rail sections for the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions.
