18 gauge construction and the extra backing plate on the bottom makes it soild with very little flex. Inside dimensions are 9.75" x 6.125" x 1.5", just fits my Glock 20 (+1" for a compensated barrel). Foam was a little too thick for the Glock so I ha...

Lockdown Large Handgun Vault 222144 is an ideal solution for those who want to have secure storage mounted under-the-counter or while traveling. This large pistol safe gives you extra security when travelling with a concealed carry firearm. This Lockdown gun safe is constructed of 18 gauge steel, and the side and bottom panels are reinforced with super strong 12 gauge steel. The Lockdown Large Gun Vault is also extremely portable; the gun safe can be mounted to virtually any flat surface with the included mounting equipment, and it's small enough to fit in your glove box. The gun case includes an extra level of security; a 1500lb, 43" steel cable that can be locked to any stationary surface or the interior frame of a piece of luggage. The Lockdown Handgun Vault lets you carry your firearm securely anywhere you go.image
