Great option for keeping little ones safe
We have a two year old granddaughter who is very active and inquisitive, and needed a way to keep dangerous items out of reach. We purchased two of these, and appreciated that they were inexpensive and effective. We do not keep those items locked in them at all times, as access would not be quick, but they serve our intended purpose very well.

Lockdown Handgun Vault Large 222144
18 gauge construction and the extra backing plate on the bottom makes it soild with very little flex. Inside dimensions are 9.75" x 6.125" x 1.5", just fits my Glock 20 (+1" for a compensated barrel). Foam was a little too thick for the Glock so I had to use thinner foam on one side. Cable is not 43", more like 36" but plenty long enough. Cable also has a heavy steel washer on it that act as an additional anchor on the inside of the case to lessen the possibility of the case being pulled off the cable, nice feature. Lock/key type seems to be the same as Gun Vault.
