Would this scope mount easy on a ruger american compact bolt action .308? And how well will it work with it? Expert Answer

As long as you have a picatinny rail on the rifle it will work and be easy to mount. However it is an AR height optic so it may not be ideal on the Ruger American, as you will need to adjust your cheek weld to use it.

Sight is a little heavy and with other red dots coming down in price this optic needs some redesign. Good QR quality clear glass. The brightness auto adjustment works well. The optic is very rugged. Nice it uses a aaa battery.
