This is because a large percentage of the flash actually gets reflected off of the Compensator baffles regardless of how little gas pressure there is in the muzzle. Install a Cloudburst Compensator A2 onto your .223/5.56 muzzle and breathe easy. The cloudburst design expels escaping gas faster and the fabricator ensures that the baffles are well spread out over the entire threaded length. Install the cloudburst Compensator A2 onto a .223/5.56 muzzle with a 1/2 x 28 threaded barrel and turn the gas flow down as high as it will go. The vast majority of muzzle blast will be directed away from your position and out the front of your muzzle. Most of the time the baffles will actually collapse on their own due to the immense size of the baffles. This helps tremendously when it comes to clearing a stuck round rather than a clogged one.
