Will this work on a Ruger/Magpul backpacker stock ?

Yes. I have it on a PC-9 backpacker stock and 10/22 backpacker stock. It’s great have fun.

I bought both sides to allow for an ambidextrous set up. It gets a bit pricey when you’re buying four, but the quality is good. I believe Magpul should include these with the Backpacker stock. They sit a little proud of the stock when installed.

The Magpul Sling Mount Kit allows any stock with a Type 1 push-button QD swivel socket installed to be used as an ambidextrous QD sling swivel.
