This is an excellent piece for reducing clutter on the handguard while adding a very useful for grip. Excellent feel and the trigger activation of a 1 inch flashlight feels very natural. One of the best accessories I’ve bought for my AR platform rifle

So when I first decided to try these sights I wasn’t sure which sights I needed for a Romanian SAR1 so I contacted Meprolight tech to be sure I got the correct sight. Well when they showed up I did the rear sight first. It fit, not perfect but acceptable. Then the front sight post, I removed the old post and put the new one in. It was lose, and I mean LOSE! I checked it with a mic thinking I needed to maybe spread the cut in the post a little but the problem was bigger than that, the shaft diameter was smaller then the factory post there’s no way to spread it enough to keep it from wobbling. So I contacted tech at Meprolight again and they ask for a copy of the invoice from optics planet which I sent immediately. Well, that’s the last I’ve heard from them they simply stopped responding. Now maybe I could glob some lock tight in there but that’s not to me a practical solution for a sight that’s mounted to a barrel that gets extremely hot. It’s a poor quality part with poorer support. Pay a little more for something this important
