They are designed for the PMAG GEN M2 models. They will fit PMAG GEN M3 however they will not adequately seal that magazine against debris intrusion.

These fit the Magpul PMag Gen 2 virtually air tight. They also fit the Gen 3 really well, though there is a tiny gap on the back side (maybe 1mm). If you're using them for sand storm defense, that might be an issue on the Gen 3, but I mainly got them...

I keep mags loaded so these keep the pressure off the mag lips. Pmags used to ship with these but no longer do. Still worth getting imo
