The Mantis X 2 Shooting Performance System requires an underside picatinny rail in order to mount the laser and function as intended. If you do not have an underside rail, you would not be able to use the Mantis X 2 Shooting Performance System.

My wife is new to shooting, she felt very comfortable practicing at home with the mantis x and improved her shooting after just a few days of doing numerous training drills provided with in the app. Can not wait to get her back to the range.

Great product however it did not attach onto the rail of handgun. Needed to order magazine attachment to make this work. Nice way to be able to practice indoors. Good detailed info with app compared to shooting a laser at a target.

The Mantis X2 Shooting Performance System is an upgrade for the advanced electronic Police Training Gear. This second-generation system is smaller, lighter, and lasts longer than the original Mantis X. Compared to the first generation, the Mantis X2 is 40 percent smaller and 50 percent lighter, yet has three times the battery life, bumping it up to approximately 20 hours. Plus, the X2 has a quick-detach feature, making it easier to add or remove from a firearm.image

Last but certainly not least, the Mantis X2 Shooting System offers four times the data rate of its predecessor. Collecting thousands of data points per second, the X2 analyzes performance in real time. This allows shooters to instantly recognize issues with muzzle trace, trigger control, and shot time, so they make immediate adjustments.

The Mantis X2 works with any handgun or rifle with a standard universal rail and can pair to smart phones via a downloaded app. Additionally, the app features training drills, courses, tips, tracking, and connects you with other users.
