Is this part necessary to install a magpul prs to the mdt chassis? Expert Answer

It depends on which model chassis you have. If it is a model with a carbine stock rear it will be required. If it is a model with a fixed stock rear it is not required.

Product Info for MDT Carbine to Fixed Stock Adapter

The Fixed Stock adapter connects to any of our carbine interface chassis enabling the use of a fixed buttstock.image

Note that this will increase the LOP (Length of Pull) by 0.75" If Length of Pull becomes an issue, consider the short version of our Skeleton Rifle Stock.

This adapter can also be used on the Savage Stealth which is a chassis developed on an MDT platform.
