Yes, the 300WM magazine will work in the LSS-XL long action versions of that chassis, but which of the 3 sizes you choose will depend on the rifle you have. Tikka builds and Savage Axis builds will need the 3.560 version, and all others will use the 3.715 or 3.850. There are too many versions to list here that use the larger size, so please reach out to the MDT support line so we can help you make the correct purchase from Optics Planet.
I bought a couple of these mags for my Bergara B-14 HMR in 300 PRC. These mags are listed as "300 Win Mag" but I can confirm that they fit 300 PRC. I'm running long 220gr Berger LRHT bullets seated at the length I want them and these mags are large...

This fits just right in my Outlier 7mm Rem Mag build. Feeds a little stiff but seemed to loosen up a little as I shot the firearm! I could fit 6 rounds into it but then the first round fed hard! Will be ordering another soon!
Does what it is intended for. I am using a .300 win mag magazine for 7 PRC. You need to adjust the lips and the feed angle for them to work. It would be better if MDT designed a dedicated 7 PRC mag and had options for a 3 round version.

Product Info for MDT Long Action Metal Magazine
MDT metal AICS Rifle Magazines are manufactured from high strength steel and finished with Cerakote Elite for the ultimate in durability and corrosion resistance.
The magazines are offered in .300 Winchester Magnum and .338 Lapua Magnum configurations and are compatible with AICS pattern DBM chassis and bottom metals
The 300 Win Mag magazine can also be used for 7mm Rem Mag, 30.06, 6.5x55 and similar cartridges by adjusting the feed lips.
The magazines are manufactured in multiple lengths.
3.715" 300 WM and 338 LM for our chassis systems and other DBM
for the different lengths, 3.560" 300WM for our chassis systems for Tikka long action rifles (270 Win, 30-06, 300 WM etc)
3.850" 300 WM and 338 LM for CIP spec chassis and DBM

All our chassis are manufacturered with a 3.715" magazine well with the exception of Tikka T3T3x and Savage Axis which take 3.560" and a couple ESS which say they take CIP length which are 3.850"
- If however you purchased a rifle direct from an OEM or retailer
please check the specifications.
- The Remington Tactical Chassis Rifle and 338 Lapua XCR rifles use a 3.775" magazine not available from MDT
- Tikka T3 long action calibers in our chassis you must use the 3.560" option.
- Will not work with 300 Remington Ultra Mag
300 Weatherby
and similar cartridges.
