Do these work for the MDT LSS-XL 300WM long action chassis? If not which magazines do?

Yes, the 300WM magazine will work in the LSS-XL long action versions of that chassis, but which of the 3 sizes you choose will depend on the rifle you have. Tikka builds and Savage Axis builds will need the 3.560 version, and all others will use the 3.715 or 3.850. There are too many versions to list here that use the larger size, so please reach out to the MDT support line so we can help you make the correct purchase from Optics Planet.

You will need the correct length to match what your rifle needs, but yes, the 300 WM version works with 257 Weatherby Magnum.

As long as you have a long action chassis and match the correct length to your chassis, then yes, these will work.

If it says 3.615 is “ coal “ then why does it say it want work with 300 Weatherby mag that’s is 3.562 ?

Yes, the 3.715" MDT Long Action Metal Magazine is what is recommended by the manufacturer for the Savage 110 Tactical in 300 Win Mag. The MDT Long Action Metal Magazines will work in the Oryx Chassis.

What's the max COAL you can use in the 3.715" magazine? My 300WM loads with 225 gr ELD match bullets are at 3.66". Interior dimensions front 2 back?

The maximum cartridge overall length that will fit in this 3.715 magazine is 3.615.

It will only work if your rifle accepts AICS pattern magazines.

No, these are not for .338 RUM. You would need a magazine for You would need one for .300 RUM/.375 H&H
