The StarNavigator NG 102mm features a 102mm Aperture with 660mm (f/6.5) Focal Length. The accessories include: (2) MA eyepieces (9mm & 26mm, providing 73x and 25x magnifications respectively) for high and low magnifications, bubble/level compass, and red-dot viewfinder to help easily locate objects in the night sky. This telescope incorporates a sturdy tripod and single-arm mount featuring a vixen-style dovetail receiver. The vixen-style dovetail receiver allows for effortless removal of the OTA and provides versatility for the option to attach an array of OTAs. Also featured with this mount is Meade's AudioStar computer controller. With AudioStar's 30,000 object-database and over 4 hours of audio presentations built-in the electronics, you can spend countless hours to learn about the objects you're viewing. Approximate assembled weight: 14 lbs. Throughout the years, the StarNavigator Series has provided space admirers and amateur astronomers computerized, GoTo telescopes at a great price. The StarNavigator NG (Next Generation) Series takes this to the next level. This Series features (6) different apertures and models, including: 90mm & 125mm Maksutov-Cassegrains, 90mm & 102mm refractors, and 114 & 130mm reflectors. Each model is powered by (8) AA batteries (user-supplied) or an external power supply.
