Do the 20 round Mec Gar magazines extend beyond the bottom of the pistol model P226, and do they have a polymer or rubber base plate? Expert Answer

Unfortunately, we don't have a P226 to test the magazine with - as a reduced-capacity magazine, I can't imagine it would protrude. One reviewer notes that the base plate has a rubber bumper.
