Smooth operating and very sturdy and well made. Needed 10 round mag due to new laws taking away my 15 rounders. Price is so much better than anywhere considering I really didnot want to buy magazines I dint want...10 rounders.....

Excellent P226 Magazine
I bought this to complement the OEM mags that came with my Sig P226 X-Five.
The original magazines are black. Mec-Gar offers both black and nickel finishes, and I opted for the latter.
The magazine is very well-made—its workmanship is, in some respects, even better than the OEM mag, which has a bit of play between the plastic stub and the metal tube. Function is flawless, and having visually distinct magazines also makes it easier to tell them apart when testing different ammo at the range. The price makes it even more attractive, and I may come back for more.

Excellent magazine for P-226 XFive
The P-226 came with three magazines—I wanted four. I ordered the Mec-Gar nickel-plated magazine, and it's a perfect fit. In my opinion, it's better made than the original Sig Sauer 10-round mag, which has some play where the plastic stub connects to the tube. The spring has just the right tension and doesn't seem to require any break-in period. I like it, and I may order more.

Excellent P226 Mags for the Tisas PX-9 GEN3
I recently purchased two 20-round SIG P226 Magazines with the DPS bottom plate for my newly-acquired Tisas PX-9 GEN3 and could not be happier with the quality of the magazines. The magazines insert and release effortlessly. I also purchased a DPS +2 plate for the 18 round magazine that came with a flush base plate to create an additional 20 round mag (the 20 round mags with the extended base plate make it easier to extract with the flared mag well installed). As to the company itself, I was extremely pleased with how quickly the order was filled and shipped. I highly recommend the Mec-Gar company and products!

solid mags
I got these as some back ups and haven’t had a issue I would recommend them to anyone that needs some spares or need to run drills two range days no issues maybe 50 rounds a piece I have another day planned but don’t see me running into any problems

Excellent Replacement
This magazine was very well finished, lubricated and packaged. Came exactly as described, and functions flawlessly. I was pleased to see the quality of this aftermarket magazine rivaled or possibly exceeded that of the factory magazines of the same variety. Will be buying more p226 magazines from mec-gar in the future.

Works perfectly in a Sig Sauer P226 Extreme
I bought a few of these to use as extra magsfor my new Sig P226 Extreme and they work great! They work as well or better than the factory mags. I have not had one jam or misfeed that was the fault of the magazine. They are reasonably priced and work well. What else can you ask for in a magazine?

Joisey Mags...
Bought a bunch of these 9mm 10 round mags in preparation to my summer visit to the People’s Republic of New Jersey. Mags fit and work flawlessly in my Sig P226 Legion RX SAO. They come with an extended base plate removal pin which is a nice touch. Not much more to review as it’s just a mag. Recommended product.

Better than Original Sig Magazines
I actually like the Mec Gar magazine better than the magazines that came with the gun. They load easier (there is a sticking point on the originals) and. I like the rubber bumper at the base of the magazine. I have used it at the range several times so far and have not had any issues with it. I will definitely be picking up a few more.

Great Product!!
These mags are fantastic for the money. I use them in my SIG P226 40 & 9m. Runs both rounds flawlessly. They fit well with no rattle and drop out with ease. Over all, this a good buy. You can not find better for the money
