These Meprolight USA Tru-Dot Night Sight-TD fixed .45 ACP, 1911 Front and Rear Sight Set are for Novak cut dovetails. So if your Government 1911 has Novak cut dovetails these sights will work. If that 1911 has the GI dovetails these sights will not fit.

If that gun has Novak style dovetail cuts, it should fit.

Product fits well, not difficult to install if you have right tool (be sure not to use a drift punch). Did not require any special fitting. Really makes a difference on my Citadel compact .45ACP. Finish matches the gun well also.
