Product won't fit Metro arms American classic 45acpp. Still waiting for return label I've tried online and spoke to a person who told me a gunsmith would have to modify products to make them fit. Still waiting for return authorization. Good products SLOW SERVICE.
Cons:
- Great product use on other guns

These night sights look and work great, they were easily installed without any problems. There dead on accurate and the price is hard to beat. I have Meprolight night sights on must of my pistols and its my go to brand for reliable aftermarket sights
Pros:
- Easy to install
- cost
- long lasting
- Brighness

Product fits well, not difficult to install if you have right tool (be sure not to use a drift punch). Did not require any special fitting. Really makes a difference on my Citadel compact .45ACP. Finish matches the gun well also.

I bought these because the target sights(blacked out), from the factory, on my Citadel 1911 weren't really doing it for me. I knew they were "Novak Style" and I have fitted some on another Citadel that I had a while back; and doing that is at best, tedious. I went the Armscor website and saw that Meprolight made night sights and looked up the part# on the Meprolight website, then ordered from here because they were the least expensive place to get them.
Initial thoughts: Good quality; bright ampules
Fitting thoughts: The rear sight was a bit loose. I had to tighten the set screw to keep enough tension on the sight to center it before final tightening. It literally dropped through when placed in the dovetail. Not sure if it was the dovetail on the slide or the sight but there was no drifting needed on the rear. The front sight only required minor drifting and was simply done with a plastic drift, and locked in place with red locktight.
Final thoughts: These are well made sights. The tritium ampules are good and bright; and the white rings around them aid in day time sight acquisition. My only minor complaint is about the rear sight being loose. However; if there is any movement with shooting, I'll add some red locktight to the base.
Pros:
- well made
- great looks
- Easy fitment
- Bright Ampules
Cons:
- Rear sight was a bit loose
Best Used for:
- Daytime and Night time shooting
