Will this fit a Rock Island FS A1 1911 stainless model? Will I need to recut the slide to fit this or will the Rock Island front cut work with this? Expert Answer

Yes, this front sight will be compatible. You will not need to modify your slide, minor fitting may be needed but any modifications will be made to the sight rather than the pistol's slide.
