Can I mount a light to the sides of this ? Expert Answer

The Mesa Tactical High Tube Telescoping Stock Kit would not allow you to mount a light to the sides of the rail. Only the flattop picatinny rail can accept accessories. I would recommend using the GG&G Remington 870 Sling and Flashlight Mount Combo to mount a light to your 870. It can be found by using the link below:
