Bought for my first AR build and it has a good finish and feels sturdy. MI is known for having pretty good AR parts and will be testing that when I go to the range. Good price for a BCG considering a lot of parts are on backorder right now.

Excellent BCG. The fit and finish are comparable to the best. Perfect staking on the gas key. I've been running it hard in a 16" carbine length gas system, no issues at all. I would definitely buy again.

Midwest Industries Bolt Carrier Group BCG come in Black Nitride, Nickel Boron, DLC Flat Dark Earth and Titanium Nitride! The Carpenter 158 Bolt is heat treated, shot peened, precision ground for perfect dimensions, and MPI Tested. The 4140 Billet Gas Key is properly torqued with Grade 8 fasteners, and properly staked to ensure reliability. The 4140 Billet Cam Pin is nitride treated for wear resistance. The Billet Machined Extractor is machined from solid 4140 bar stock, heat treated and shot peened, coated for reliable extraction, extractor insert, and O-Ring are included.
