Had to mill out the pin holes then mill out the rod holder. the buffer is 100% useless the spring compressed stops it from coming close to the buffer. Once I spent 3 hours trying to make it perfect it fits like a dream. Love midwest gear but this one...

The part fits ok had to us a metal file on the bottom pinhole to give it a slope so the pen would fit properly all in all I give the product an eight out of 10.
This backplate fit into the frame fine and the holes looked aligned but the two pins would not go in. Used a rubber mallet and took many strikes. The top pin knocked out the outgoing washer that was welded on.
