Had to mill out the pin holes then mill out the rod holder. the buffer is 100% useless the spring compressed stops it from coming close to the buffer. Once I spent 3 hours trying to make it perfect it fits like a dream. Love midwest gear but this one you need to put some work into it to make it work right. should be 40$ for all the extra bs you need to do to get fitment.

Mac5k Great Product

Love it. Very well made. Keep in mind it will need modification. Use a .308 bit to widen the lower hole. ( The hole nearest the grip ) Zero play. Moving forward the lower pin will need to be removed with a mallet. ( Not difficult ). PatrioTexn.

Doesnt fit ZF-5K

The holes do not line up at all with my Zenith ZF-5k. You’ll have to file the holes but I’ve been dremelling away and can’t get it to fit.

Mp5k 1913 adapter

The part fits ok had to us a metal file on the bottom pinhole to give it a slope so the pen would fit properly all in all I give the product an eight out of 10.

  • Allows the user to use a wide variety of pistol braces

Very hard to reinstall pins after mounting.

This backplate fit into the frame fine and the holes looked aligned but the two pins would not go in. Used a rubber mallet and took many strikes. The top pin knocked out the outgoing washer that was welded on.
Pros:
  • Worked for the brace I put on
Cons:
  • Very hard to reinsert the two pins

  • Attaching a folding brace

Thanks Optics Planet. MIDWEST INDUSTRIES MP5K 1914 END PLATE ADAPTER arrived at the perfect time. Just received my TAX STAMP before I could install the end plate adapter. I had to do modifications to the upper and lower pin holes to get a perfect fit. I’m definitely happy with this purchase as I’m able to change to multiple stocks that I own.
