The Recoil Pad Installation Kit by Wheeler Engineering provides any gunsmith or hobbyist the ability to do a professional job installing rubber recoil pads. It allows the user to accurately transfer the toe-line angle and comb line from the stock to the new recoil pad and also serves as a stable work holding fixture for off the stock sanding of the pad. The fixture is designed for use with any table mounted belt or disc sander. The aluminum mounting bar is retained between two "ears" cast into the base to provide maximum clamping force for no-slip use. A setscrew in the mounting bar allows repeatable settings for the comb line.
