I can verify that this does not fit a hellpup. Even after modification. The recoil spring pushes the cover up and it pops off. I spent two hours with a dremel trying to get this to fit my hellpup. Since I modified the part, I cannot send it back. Do not buy if you have a hellpup.

Poor design, can't make mine stay on no matter how I file, bend or grind. The angle of the back of the cover is lower than the spring button which pushes against the cover so it can't stay in the groove in the rear trunnion.
