Is it true that the prongs are not long enough for this tool to work properly? Expert Answer

I've been here 9 years and six months - first time I've heard of this. Is it possible that out of the many thousands of these that NC Star makes, that a lemon squeaks through? Absolutely.

It's entirely possible that the one received had a manufacturing defect and was too short, but this is certainly not a recurring issue - we have sold 321 of this item between 12/02/11 and 12/15/17, and have received no other negative feedback concerning the length of the prongs.

Helpful Negative Review Front sight tool by Dan, November 15, 2020
The tool is used to adjust the front site post. However, it is fairly light material and would not stand up to heavy use. But, if you plan to use it only occasionally it should be sufficient for your use.
