Is it compatible with the m2r warrior or the m2r warrior pro? I've seen conflicting info. And is it only a momentary switch?

Yes it is compatible. Its a magnet that will stuck extra hard to the back of the flashlight. Along with the pressure switch to mount to any pictanny rail
