Product Info for PARD Optics Thermal Imaging 2.7x19mm Monocular
The TA32-19 is a thermal monocular with a 19mm lens. Its compact size conceals some of the most advanced technology in the thermal optics industry today. At only 10.2 oz (288g), it is lightweight and easily nests in the palm of your hand. It features a 2.7x optical zoom that leverages a change in the lens to adjust the distance between the camera and the target object, providing crisp and clear magnification. Additionally, it features a 1-8x digital zoom that provides additional magnification and enlarging the viewable image. With a 13.8 field of view (FOV), you can see 725 ft FOV at 1000yds. This compact unit also features the ability to record MP4 1440x1080 video of what you are viewing at the rate of 50 frames/second. Video can be downloaded via the included HDMI cable or connected via Wi-Fi to your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet. Resolution of the eyepiece is 1024x768 OLED, backing up the 384x288 thermal sensor. This allows the TA32-19 to sense targets at up to 1200m (3900ft). The advanced electronics have a Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) of ?25mK (milli-Kelvin). This is a measure of how sensitive the thermal detector is. The smaller the number, the better. Coupled with the 384x288 IR detector pixelation of 12m (micrometers), you get an extremely sensitive device that performs even when environmental thermal contrast is low at great distances. A six-foot target can be seen in total darkness at 2000m (6500ft). The TA32-19 offers six different thermal color display modes for varying conditions White Hot (most common), Black Hot (best for viewing wildlife at night), Red Hot (helps reduce overexposure with ambient light), Iron Hot, Edge and Sky. The 18650 removable/rechargeable battery provides up to 5 hours of use. Easily carry a couple extra batteries to avoid having to leave the field due to a dead unit. The Ingress Protection (IP) factor rates at an industry leading IP67, providing 100% security against dust and up to 3ft of water.
