My wife and I sailed our boat from San Francisco to New Zealand which was a 6 year voyage for us. We had 2 maglights aboard which never made it down to the tip of Baja before they gave up. The pelicans have never given us ANY trouble and always work....

I own 2 of these lights and have used them for years for scuba diving and deer hunting.I paid about $30 ea. Why are these so expensive??? AND their still xenon bulbs. Not even upgraded to LED. LED lights have made these xenon bulb flashlights obsolet...

Pelican Sabrelite 2000 Flashlight was designed with one thing in mind: SAFETY. This powerful Pelican flashlight carries more approvals than any other Flashlights on the market, making Pelican 2000 Super SabreLite Submersible Flashlight safe for any hazardous environment or condition. Pelican Sabre Lite 2000 Waterproof Xenon Flashlight is o-ring sealed with a twist-on shroud and comes with a polarity battery guard tray that safeguards against dangerous "outgassing" of hydrogen from an accidentally reversed cell. Pelican 2000 Super SabreLite Flash Light is powered by 3 C alkaline cells, submersible to 1 Meter for 30 minutes, and has an ABS resin body which resists chemicals, corrosion, and extreme temperatures. Unlike ordinary Flashlights that produce a yellow beam, Pelican SabreLite 's incredibly bright Xenon lamp produces a powerful collimated white beam. Super SabreLite Submersible Flashlight 2000 from Pelican is the leader in quality and performance.
