S2 light is generated individually by each of the maximally-packed 19 LED's, which makes it an ideal search light. Through its marvelous engineering, S2 sends a smooth and even coverage of pure white light blanketing over an area of about 10 meters in distance for objects discernable to human eyes. The advantages of the LED's are numerous. One of its primary advantages is in its efficiency, which can not be matched by any incandescent lamps. Operating at high efficiency means lower power consumption, giving longer run time. Unlike the filaments of incandescent bulbs, the LED's will in theory never need to be replaced as they are semiconductor materials resistant to shock and long term usage. S2 light also serves well as a close quarter combat light. Even with only 30 lumens of light output, its well scattered light beam ensures effective blinding of any opponents in close proximity without precise aim and direct throw. S2 is not just a limited use LED light, since its head is interchangeable for alternate light sources from a diverse selection of conversion heads available separately, so your initial investment for a high quality flashlight is maximized. S2 is crafted out of aerospace grade aluminum tube using precision CNC machine in anti-reflective, anti-corrosive, and anti-abrasive military spec Type III hard anodized exterior finish. The 1" diamond knurl area of the body is suitable for standard gun-mounts. Our patented waterproofed twist for constant on/off and push for momentary on/off PentagonLight signature switch is featured in the tail-cap. It is housed in Pentagonlight Flashlights & Flash Light Accessories pentagonal shape anti-roll tail-cap making it easy for one-hand operation. A lanyard hook on the tail-cap is designed for attaching the included lanyard. Optional tail-caps are available for additional switching functions, including remote pressure pad switch tail-caps, push on/off tail-cap, and swivel belt-clip tail-cap. Two PentagonLight CR-123A lithium batteries with 10-year shelf-life are included.
