Product Info for Petzl Mini Traxion Pulley

The compact Petzl Mini Traxion has 3 distinct modes of operation (pulley, progress capture pulley, ascender), making it the ideal companion for extended vertical adventures. Use it for hauling light loads, self-belay, ascending rope and self-rescue.image

Features of Petzl Mini Traxion Pulley:

  • Efficient and compact: aluminum sheave mounted on a self-lubricating bearing
  • Toothed cam with self-cleaning slot: works even on frozen or muddy ropes
  • Cam can be locked in open position so device can be used as a simple pulley
  • Can be used to ascend a rope
  • For use with ropes from 8 to 13 mm in diameter
  • Efficiency: 71 %
  • Working load as pulley only: 2.5 kN x 2 = 5 kN
  • Breaking strength as pulley only: 10 kN x 2 = 20 kN
  • Working load as self-jamming pulley: 2.5 kN
  • Breaking strength as self-jamming pulley: 4 kN
