I have an AR chambered in 7.62x39 but the barrel threads is 5/8x24. And it says that the .308 caliber thread is the 5/8x24. Can I use the .308 instead Expert Answer

No, because 7.62x39mm bullets are commonly up to .311 inches in diameter.

I bought the 556 hex brake for my daniel defense ddm4v7 and it's 1/2 28 tpi.Thats also what the muzzle brake says. Some reason it doesn't fit. Help me Manufacturer Answer

Please contact the Phase 5 customer service department regarding your specific issue. The thread pitch for the FATman Hex Brake is 1/2x28TPI, so it should work with that barrel.

This brake is on the pricy side but it works excellent. It slips over the barrel about an inch and is pretty aggressive looking. It does come with a crush washer and pretty easy to get the timing done.
