There are many similar products out there that also do the job. This one is just a bit nicer. Machining fit and finish is just so nice. The sloped angle of the QD port is perfect. It is just a simple common component that is perfectly executed.

Real solid piece! Read reviews for some of the other brands that didn’t hold up so well and that’s not the case with this one. Not flimsy at all and I tried to pull the qd out and no dice. Priced just above the cheaper models but worth way more.

After using the first one I bought , I put one on every other scary black rifle in the safe. Phase 5 SEP is the best single point attachment in my opinion, most comfortable carry and ambidextrous. Well made!

Nicely machined but the coating is dinged all the way around and not very smooth. Poor finish. Looks like maybe they were dumped in bins en bulk after coating. Expected better for the price. Makes it looks ND feel cheap.

The Phase 5 Sloped Quick Disconnect End Plate (SQD-EP) was designed to replace the standard AR15/M4 carbine end plate. While still meeting the requirements of the original design, the SQD-EP is lighter and QD Swivel compatible.

- Proudly made in specialized factories from USA raw billet 7075-T6 aluminum
- Compatible with mil-spec carbine reciever extensions, commercial-spec reciever extensions, and all Phase 5 Pistol Buffer Tubes on nearly all AR15/M4/.308 AR Variant lower recievers.
- Accepts all push button QD swivels and QD slings.
- QD mount is at a 30 Degree angle from the lower reciever to allow a 360 Degree rotation for ambidextrious use.
