Our original Ambi Battle Latch/Charging Handle Assembly (ABL/CHA) consisted of a stainless steel spring pin that unlocked the latch and provided the mechanical advantage needed to disengage the bolt. Over time, bolts wear and the lugs on the clamping system allowing the operator to release the latch and apply pressure creating the unlocking/charging handle torque. Our ABL/CHA addresses these issues by incorporating several structural and functional improvements, 7075 Aluminum, including a truly ambidextrous design ideal for left-handed users. The upgraded stainless coiled spring pin provides mechanical advantage and increased sidewall thickness provides exceptional performance under repeated abuse and extreme situations. Nickel borate coating provides exceptional resistance to corrosive elements and abrasion.
