PMC Ammo puts quality at the forefront when it comes to their cartridges. Unlike some manufacturers, PMC Ammunition develops all of their cartridge components from raw materials, which allows them to craft each part to their specifications. High-quality Ammo ensures consistency and accuracy with every shot fired, and that's exactly what you get with their collection of 223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammo.
For personal protection, PMC X-TAC 5.56 is the ultimate self-defense round that has been tested by military operators and law enforcement officers around the globe. If you need rounds for range training, we carry PMC Bronze .223 Rem ammo with 55-grain Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail (FMJ-BT) bullets. FMJ ammo doesn't expand like hollow-point bullets, which makes them less expensive for target practice. The 55-grain FMJ-BT provides a better ballistic coefficient for more consistent groups.
Is PMC 223 ammo good?
Even though it has a lower than average price-per-round, PMC Ammunition Ammo is gaining popularity among shooters with its premium components and reliable performance. If you are into reloading, you can rest assured that all PMC ammunition brass casings are reloadable. Who makes PMC 223 ammo?
PMC Ammunition Rifle Ammo is manufactured by the Poongsan Corporation in South Korea. It is distributed in the United States by PMC (Precision Made Cartridges) in Houston, Texas.
Is .223 and 5.56 ammo the same?
No, .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO ammo are not the same. They look pretty much identical, but there are key differences in both the ammo and the firearms they're chambered for. 223 Remington ammo doesn't have as much pressure as 5.56 NATO, and the rifle chambers have different leade lengths and angles. What this boils down to is that you CAN fire 223 Remington through a firearm chambered in 5.56mm NATO, because it has lower pressure. However, you should NEVER fire 5.56 NATO through a firearm chambered in 223 Rem. The barrel of your firearm should be clearly marked with which caliber it's chambered for.
Always check and understand all manufacturer's specifications before firing any ammunition in any firearm!
