Will this brake work with a 22-250 or will it need to be machined? Expert Answer

If the barrel threading is 1/2x28 just like this muzzle brake is. If it is not then it will not work or attach on properly.

Per Precision Armament, the product is factory bored for .223 Caliber but may be enlarged up to .338 Caliber by a qualified gunsmith.

The Precision Armament M11-SPR Muzzle Brake is a lightweight version of the M11 Muzzle Brake that is specifically designed for high precision AR-15 rifles and long range hunting firearms. These Muzzle Brakes & Compensators crafted by Precision Armament incorporate a large symmetrical blast baffle in conjunction with compensated forward baffles to bring you unmatched muzzle and recoil control while simultaneously reducing bullet yaw to deliver incredible accuracy from long distances. This Precision Armament M11-SPR Steel Muzzle Brake is also incredibly durable - boasting an optimal strength to weight ratio to lighten the load up front while still being able to take a beating in the field. Outfitted with wrench flats, these muzzle brakes are incredibly easy to install and remove when needed. If you own a long range rifle, then you need to upgrade to the Precision Armament Tactical Muzzle Brake Attachment to get a featherweight muzzle attachment that will deliver unprecedented shot accuracy with every trigger pull.
