Has the Comtac III been discontinued by Peltor?

So really all I got to do to get this to work with my hand held is apply a boom mic run it to my PTT?

You need to get a separate cable to be able to use the microphone with a PTT

Does this have a Mic boom? Can these accept a Mic boom?

They have packages that do come with the mic, but this one does not. Any of the Comtac 3's will accept a mic boom, and it will accept it on either side, depending on your dominant side.

Hi. Do these have Push to talk PTT capability ? I know that the Defenders do not.

You can hook up PTT with them, yes. They do not come with it though. I have my ham radio hooked into mine with a PTT. I own these and Sordins, and IMO these are far better sound quality. I think most folks would be very pleased with their quality.

Can I set these up for comms and if so can the boom mic be placed on the right side for a left handed shooter
